Pedro Capó’s career is living proof of how to strike the perfect balance between heartfelt pop and chart-topping hits; between international recognition and a deep connection to his roots; between musical power and sensitivity. Since beginning his musical journey two decades ago, the Puerto Rican artist has built a solid and patient career—brilliant and deeply committed to his own musical vision.
His latest work, La Carretera, just released in 2025, is an album that moves between depth and expansiveness. It includes his hit with Carín León, Existo, a true gem alongside Jorge Drexler and Chambao (Aprender a Vivir), and a strong set of energetic tracks that don’t shy away from either hedonism or conceptual ambition, such as Esto se Jodió, the brilliant title track La Carretera, and Divina, which was released just over a month ago in an acoustic version.
The two-time Latin GRAMMY winner in 2019 for Calma knows that songs—especially his—are made to be sung and to create a bond with the audience. That’s why he has launched La Carretera Tour, a tour that will take him across the Spanish-speaking world, kicking off on February 8 in his native Puerto Rico and gaining momentum by the end of summer 2025.
La Carretera Tour will take Pedro Capó to more than half a dozen countries, including, of course, Spain, where the Puerto Rican singer has announced three shows in major cities at the end of September and beginning of October. Pedro Capó will perform in Valencia on September 25, take the stage at the iconic Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona on September 26, and appear in Seville on September 27, before wrapping up his Spanish leg in Madrid at Sala But on October 5.
Pedro Capó will be in Spain presenting his new album, La Carretera, and revisiting the biggest songs of his career, aiming to repeat the success of his previous visits—most recently last year when he played major festivals like Boombastic and Granca Live Fest.
Tickets for the September 26 concert in Barcelona will go on sale on June 19 at 5 p.m. at ticketmaster.es and pedrocapomusica.com/tour. Tickets for the other La Carretera Tour dates are already available through the same platforms.
