More than two decades after his first hits alongside Yandel and after forever transforming urban music worldwide and the Spanish-language music scene, Wisin has once again become one of the biggest stars of 2026.
He has done so by taking social media by storm and sparking widespread conversation with the announcement of his most ambitious solo project to date: ‘La Universidad del Perreo’. A practical course in the fundamentals of reggaeton.
Instead of being taught in classrooms and on campuses, Wisin’s ‘La Universidad del Perreo’ ultimately took shape as an album bringing together some of the greatest stars in the history of the genre he helped establish and popularise, including Jory Boy, Ivy Queen and Franco El Gorila.
Now, La Universidad del Perreo is also taking over the world’s leading venues. Two special seminars will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on November 13 and 14, and Wisin will arrive in New York on December 3, showcasing the project’s international reach.
Spain, however, could hardly miss out on a visit from Wisin and a masterclass in perreology. So La Universidad del Perreo will cross the Atlantic and land in Spain with two shows at two of the country’s leading venues: Barcelona’s Sant Jordi Club and Madrid’s Movistar Arena.
On March 4 and 6, Wisin and the rest of the faculty at La Universidad del Perreo will arrive in Barcelona and Madrid. Two nights that will go down in history, revisiting the greatest hits of Wisin’s career while giving audiences their first chance in Europe to hear his latest hits, including ‘Muévelo Pa Mi’, ‘Bounce’ and ‘Contrabando’, which has earned him another Latin GRAMMY nomination.
Tickets to enrol in Wisin’s Universidad del Perreo shows in Spain will go on sale next Tuesday, November 10, at Ticketmaster.es.
